is a Washington, DC filmmaker. Aaron worked for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer on PBS before forming thefullmonte.com in 2004, a website dedicated to reporting on conflict zones around the world. Throughout his travels he has produced numerous independent documentaries and video diaries. His independent short documentary, "Vacationing in Afghanistan" screened at film festivals and aired on PBS. In addition, he has shot for The History Channel, edited for Duetche Welle (German Television) and was field producer in Afghanistan for two National Geographic Channel documentary specials, "Inside the Taliban," and "Inside Al Qaeda." He also edited seven films for USAID in Afghanistan focused on the country's reconstruction effort. Aaron most recently was Executive Producer for Verizon's new cable system, FiOS1, producing a daily half-hour show featuring people, places, and stories in Washington, DC. Presently Aaron teaches video journalism for the Travel Channel and Rosenblum Associates.
Vahid Brignoni
is a producer and editor with over ten years of experience in motion picture and television production. Early in his career he was active in the indy film community in Austin, Texas where, among other films, he co-produced award winning playwright and actress Amparo Garcia-Crow’s short film, LOAVES & FISHES which was directed by Oscar nominated cinematographer and director Nancy Schiesari. Vahid then went on to travel the world aboard a cruise liner as an on-board video producer creating compelling programs for a large internationally known cruise line. His wide technical and practical experience stretches from what is now considered classic to cutting edge filmmaking in the digital age. He has taught editing, writing and producing documentaries to many students in northern Virginia and is known for his attentive ear and thorough knowledge of the present technical and practical requirements of today’s filmmaking.
